Two years since my last post,,, I am employed !!!

It has been three days since I have joined SERP as a “Young Professional”. Back in Kerala I was not sure to convey to my friends on this profile and I was hiding under the obscure term “consultant”. We will discuss the merits and demerits of this term later.
This is also a point in my life where I believe significant changes can happen. I joined SERP with some abstract plans for my life. This would be a time when I need to make them work. More than any, I need to streamline my career plan. I have never thought about such a thing before in my life. Even this blogging attempt is part of it. It seems blogging gives you an opportunity to analyse various things. This is an area where I seriously needed to improve. I do tend to read a lot of materials and regularly follow newspapers and magazines. Yet I was never able to analyse things to my satisfaction. Though I started a notebook for the same, it gradually became a collection of phrases and paragraphs of published news and opinions. I guess, in a blog you have the freedom of umpteen deletions and additions.
Now one question that I am facing is how I should position this blog. My options are ala Nishant as a humorous critic of everything in our world and as a more serious one. Well the thing is that one should be cautious while publishing anything on the net. My friends, colleagues and boss might see this.

In the end I guess, let it go as it is..no holds barred
and no..there is no particular reason for this;
the nature of content and language might change with the mood of my mind.
I guess, for what else a diary for?

This is my first SERIOUS attempt at a job. It seems I am adjusting to the busy life sooner than I expected, all thanks to the senior Irmans in the organisation. They threw me a welcome party to mark my induction to the team and are doing everything possible to see I feel comfortable.
Though it has been three days since I have reached here, I am still not sure what will be my profile and role in the organisation. Apparently it would be redesigning of databases for SERP for the PoP strategy. This would require me to work along vendors like infy and tcs. It seems like a dream opportunity, though flinging into such a thing sometimes scares me as well. I have always been labelled tech savvy. Now this is a real test for me to see if those were just superficial ramblings or some real flashes from inside.
