Jdownloader

This is in a way my attempt to reduce the distance from my last blog entry, which might have happened one month back. Today, lemme introduce you to a 'super-duper-efficient-magical-and many other adjectives' download tool. This is undoubtedly one of the best opensource tools I have come across in recent times.

Jdownloader is essentially a 'robot' which automates every (umm..almost) manual actions you need to do when you want to download files from filesharing and media streaming sites. All we need to do is to copy the link addresses ! The inbuilt linkgrabber in Jdownloader recognises those links and literally grabs them into the programme. Then leave the programme in the taskbar and it will run in the background downloading our files. When multiple rar files are downloaded, the programme by its own extracts the combined file. 

This is an open source programme developed originally in German and later translated into English. Nevertheless German words and sentences are popping up in the programme commands occasionally. The first setting up of the programme might be baffling as we need to agree to the Terms of Services of each filesharing site. What I am doing is to approve the ToS as and when they are raised.

In the end I want to say this, Jdownloader is super essential for every download freak out there. njoi
