um..duno

These days I am in a fix, Duno what I am doing and what i am supposed to do. Last weeks I visited three districts nalgonda, kurnool and mahbubnagar. all of these places are extremely dry areas, but the monsoon has made them reminiscent of Kerala with the lush green hills and small streams everywhere.A far cry from what they would have looked like in summer.
I visited couple of fields practicing CMSA. It's a programme of non-pesticide management of agriculture advocated by my organisation. I have my own reservations on the word 'non-pesticidal'. (remnants of horti days, probably. As an agriculture graduate we are not supposed to advice avoiding chemicals. Nonetheless as one of our favourite professors used to say "you should at the least see the fertilizers and the pesticides separately". And in NPM as far as I can remember the discipline advocates judicious use of pesticides rather than a complete proscription.
